  Essential description

Once upon a time...

A 200 year old house impregnated with the spirit of an old traditional village called Tuineje of a family of workers of the island and custodians of the territory, sensitive to the environment.

Its owners...

The owners of Casa Tamasite admire the place where they live and are committed to the protection and care of the natural environment.

Pepe, Magdalena and Doramas know the island and the agricultural techniques in depth, and when you talk to them they transmit knowledge, admiration, spirit and work force.

The uniqueness of the space...

With the air of the old and the transition to the new, this house of stone and wood is mixed with total independence and autonomy, allowing you to enjoy a cosy and homely stay with the flavour of a village.

In its corners, flowers, farm implements and traditional utensils dot the architecture with curiosity as soon as you walk through its wooden door.

A space also awaits you where you can refresh yourself with a small swimming pool, a barbecue area and a traditional stone oven... in a very intimate way.

This set of rural houses of 1000 m2 have an orientation that allows you to have privileged views of the historic Tamasite Mountain, famous for its aboriginal vestiges and one of the battles that took place in 1740, between English pirates and the Majorero people, which today are commemorated in the festival of the Jurada in October.

The surrounding area...

The houses are located in Tuineje, which due to its agricultural and livestock tradition has supermarkets, small local restaurants.... Where you can find local products and a friendly conversation.

Furthermore, it is at the foot of hiking trails, volcanoes and the landscape of the malpais Grande and Malpais Grande and Malpais Chico, which reflect the last volcanic stage of the oldest island. The surrounding landscape is different here.

If you want to complete your stay, you can always understand and learn how to work the land and manage a farm and its crops with them in their rural house in Tiscamanita, Agroturismo La Gayría if you wish.
