Las Salinas del Carmen Museum

This museum is a cultural complex comprising Las Salinas de El Carmen, built around 1910, and a museum centre that provides an overview of the culture generated around salt. It is a meeting place between natural and cultural heritage, as here the ethnographic tradition born around the production and use of salt is fused.

The exterior tour consists of a visit to the salt pans where we can appreciate their architectural characteristics, the different elements in which they are structured, the salt production process and the beautiful landscape they form.
