Once upon a time...

A Rural Cabin in a beautiful, high location, overlooking a flat landscape of rolling hills. Once upon a time there was a genuine house with its own identity and beautiful flowers growing from its roots.

Its owners...

The owners, Marta and her family welcome you as one would expect a member of their family, with a detailed and deep insight into the island, their knowledge, environmental awareness and connection to the surroundings allow you to get to know and enjoy it in a personal way.

They live close to Casa La Burra and you feel from the moment you arrive, that you are part of the community, that you are not just a tourist visiting, but one more in the middle of a natural landscape.

One of the characteristics of the owners is their knowledge of the indigenous plants, culture and roots of the place. You will enjoy asking questions and listening to their stories.

From time to time, and in season, Marta's family enjoys offering you to share local products, whenever they have them, such as Majorero cheese, white wine (Malvasia grape) produced on the farm in small production, Indian tunos, figs, peaches, pomegranates or grapes from the surroundings of the house.

The uniqueness of the space...

This rural cabin used to be an alpende (animal stable) built at the end of the 19th century and its restoration has respected the lines of traditional Majorcan architecture, integrating it into the landscape.

There are times when you can taste the fruits of Fuerteventura tunos, Indian tunos, figs, peaches, pomegranates or grapes picked around the house.

When you arrive to enjoy your stay you will find a pleasant, warm and intimate atmosphere. The living room or bedroom with double bed, invites you to go through its windows for the views.

The surrounding space...

It is a space that looks like a film set, nestled between mountains and plains and full of native vegetation with curious piteras, tuneras, palm trees, aloe and aulagas.....

It is a house that has blended in with the landscape, the tones, the stones, the objects are in themselves the earth.

A space of silence that allows you to enjoy the peace and tranquillity that is the island of Fuerteventura.

A place on the island for...

Accommodation where the stars ask you to look at them, close to the core areas of the Starlight biosphere reserve.

If you are looking for a place to write, to meditate, to work, to reflect, to get away from the constant noise, it is ideal, with its desk by the window overlooking the landscape you will be able to call inspiration.  It's not a completely flat landscape, you can look at things with perspective from above and to the horizon.

It is a central and ideal location to get to know the island's vegetation, to observe the birds, to experience the local customs at close quarters, come to this safe and geologically interesting environment.

It is ideal for a Digital Détox. To cleanse yourself of physical and mental pollution.

When you visit it, you will feel...

One of those charming little houses on the Net, where you will feel totally secluded and comfortable.

If it is important for you to be in a house that is conscious and sustainable with its environment, this is one of those corners.

That the island produces sensations on your skin, touching the walls, the native vegetation, feeling the fresh, free air between your fingers, a house of sensations where the skin feels the ancient, where the tactile sensation is primitive.

Crossing between the native plants, you enter a home where your eyes and your mind rest. ....
